The Department of Mathematical Engineering and the Center for Research in Mathematical Engineering (CI2MA) of the Universidad de Concepción, Concepción, Chile, are proud to host the Third Chilean Workshop on Numerical Analysis of Partial Differential Equations (WONAPDE 2010), to be held on January 11-15, 2010.
The aim of the workshop is to present recent developments in Numerical Analysis of Partial Differential Equations, which include, among other related, the following topics:
- Finite Element Methods
- Boundary Element Methods
- Finite Volume Methods for Conservation Laws
- Discontinuous Galerkin Methods
- A posteriori Error Estimation and Adaptivity
- Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Computational Structural Mechanics
- Computational Methods in Electromagnetism
Call for Papers
The conference program will include: 50 minutes plenary lectures, 25-minutes communications in parallel sessions and the invited minisymposia.
In order to present a communication, authors are invited to submit a one-page abstract before November 15th.

Special Issue of APNUM
A special issue of the journal APPLIED NUMERICAL MATHEMATICS containing selected works presented at WONAPDE 2010 will be edited shortly after the conference.
